The Avatar of Below

As many of you probably know, the coldain shawl quests are not at all easy. It took weeks to finally get the 7th shawl along with the necessary items to trigger the final part of the quest in Iceclad Ocean. Finally, the day came when we were to escort General Bragmur.

After we battled through the ambushes by giants and wolves, we followed the general to the gnomish pirate camp. As we drawed near, the presence of an avatar filled the air...

So I was just about to turn in my 7th shawl to the Avatar and I asked myself, "Do I want the 8th shawl or do I want to kill Avatar of Below simply because I hate dorfs?" Pretty obvious answer to that question...

I would like to give a big gratz to the guild Promethian Order of Vazaelle for slaying the vile beast. Also a special thanks to their raid leader Akethadar for making it all possible and Mynlaeni too for twisting DS for over an hour =)

For killing the avatar, guide Keveran came and rewarded us with gnome sandwiches and Valtron's finest brew. Overall, we all had a great time and we'll certainly remember it =)

How hard of a mob was he? (ie. how hard/fast he hits, hitpoints, etc.)

Quads for 1k
Unslowable
Invulnerable to melee
Essentially 100% resistant to all spells
Massive HP
Clearly he was not meant to be killed...

Hahaha, death by damage shield. Poor bards. You guys should set up a bard DS rotation.
