Bertoxxulous * PoP model * in the Plane of Desease.

Hmmm...you sure thats really supposed to be Bertoxx? In every document I've read on the Everquest gods, it always says Bertoxxulous himself is a giant hooded figure with a black coat thing on that covers his body down to his knees, and is longsleevish, the coat is torn and ripped at his legs and sleeves, his body rotted down to the bones, decayed skin hanging off the bones that are shown(hands, bit of forearms, shins), he has torn shoe things on, and his face is showing. His face looks like a childlike face..brilliant and fresh - not rotted off like the rest of his body...and that looks NOTHING like this model.

Way to go on total lack of thinking Verant. (That is, if that's really Bertoxx himself.)

This guy reminds me of Mephisto. I think it'd the head and spikes. Looks cool, but hey now, READ YOUR FUCKING SITE VERANT, you describe to yourself what he looks like...

Yeah it does remind me of Mephisto.

I dunno, I would've expected more of a zombie-ish looking thing. With more hanging flesh and guts coming out and what not. Instead of alot of spikes.

Bertoxx, by what they originally worked out, should be the hooded dude, but i guess the concept art wasnt feasible to draw? or maybe this just looks cooler? dunno. but the race, when i became him, said bertoxxulous, and thats straight from the coded game *shrug*

Some of the gods are likely to be much larger in size, though.

Take for instance, Cazic Thule. If you were to go into the plane of fear (on emulator) and turn into Cazic Thule, you'd be a smaller version of him... I'm thinking this is the case with Bertox, and maybe Karana.

that is the model for bertox himself, check out the flash movie for the bertox prologue on the pop site, it shows him and it looks the same as that model

B e r t o x x u l o u s · The Plaguebringer

Bertoxxulous has no allies. His followers often follow the dark art of necromancy, which he wholeheartedly supports. The Plaguebringer appears as a humanoid hunchback draped in tattered, decaying robes. Under his hood can be seen a very handsome face attached to the body of a rotting corpse. He is enemies with Tunare, Rodcet Nife, Karana, Mithaniel Marr, and Rallos Zek. He rules the Plane of Disease, which is dark and drippy with geysers of ooze and rivers of pus. The land itself looks, feels and even smells like decaying flesh, and is inhabited by all manner of evil creatures and undead.

I think Bertoxx is in CoD not PoD so that should just be a named mobel or something I bet.
