Help finding a story.

There has been a story floating around the internet for quite some time about some cave explorers that I can't seem to find. It was a very spooky story about weird happenings and such that take place during their climb. Me and some buddies were discussing some spooky stories and I happen to think about it, but now I can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Ted's Caving Page, with the story of his discovery in a local cave.

I've noticed an insane amount of active people on these boards from KY. At least 6-7, and given the size of the state in comparison to others, thats an impressive number.

Living in Lexington myself, I wonder what the deal with that is.

Creepy story. Kind of predictable that it would end that way.

i'm both confused and disappointed.

Is this a real experience or is this fiction? Why does it just end there with a cliffhanger (hur hur). This happened 6 years ago...did the dude die?

His lack of updates since then kind of point toward that, which makes me think its a fraud.

I'd love to contact the guy if it was indeed legit.

Ah:

snopes.com: Ted's caving page.

I feel pretty silly buying into it.

That was actually a pretty awesome story, and had me worked up heh. Once he talked about going into the room with the heiroglyphics and taking pictures but they didn't develop it went from really intense to a predictable Hollywood horror story though. Once that part happened I knew the story was bullshit, but it got good again a minute after that. That was kinda the first of a couple unbelievable parts though...and the ending was pretty cliche but guess it had to be done that way.

Makes me want to go caving, in hopes that my life will too be put into mortal danger.

i made the mistake of reading that before a class of mine in high school went spelunking (tight cave exploring like the story involves) that was several years ago but it definitely made me not want to go haha. turned out to be a blast though, could definitely relate to the tight squeezes.
