Disney is an abortion of a wanna be family business but in reality they are bloody sharks.. Anyone remember that story when Pixar did Shrek and it was the first UN-disney like movie with an imperfect happy ending and how they fired/ cancelled the contract because the princess ended up being an Ogre instead of being a fancy princess with a fancy prince and a white horse? Then Shrek was a success and suddenly it was okay..

I dislike Disney alot and thats hard to achieve.

Not to poke holes in your magnificent theory, but Shrek was a Dreamworks movie and has never had anything to do with Disney.

Don't understand the Disney hate. I'm a huge fan of Pixar and mid-90s Disney animation (Aladdin, Beauty in the Beast and The Lion King in particular).

I have some sympathy for the girl -- I assume it's some ex-boyfriend that took the picture and then released it when she became famous. What an asshat and stupid too. I'm sure she knows who he is and if she is indeed under 18 in the photo then he can be criminally charged for distribution of child porn.

Odd that if you watch any of the older disney movies, their filled with so much sexual inuendo that the fact they'd fire one of their most popular stars in the history of disney because of this is strange

You all realize we went through this what, 2 years ago with Anne Hathaway? She did that almost-but-not-quite porn film where she at least showed her tits in a sex scene (I've seen) and pleasured herself (I've heard). No more Princess Diaries.

I'm sure Disney puts a clause in their contract that allows them to fire actors when something indecent becomes public. They have to protect their "family" image and taking a hard stance on situations like this is not a bad call.

Sucks for the actress though.

Nevermind their namesake was a union buster who didn't mind accusing his employees of being commies in order to keep them down. That or his anti semitic leanings...

I guess it works for Disney, as they get popular they want more cash; when really those kids are pretty interchangeable little munchkins who have a thousand unknowns looking to replace them.

The hypocrisy of Disney doesn't matter because most people aren't really aware of it, especially little kids.. but they are aware that the girl from that musical is the one in the picture being passed around the classroom.
