As far as I understand it (and I'm sure this varies wildly from state to state, let alone by country) prostitution is not illegal. IE: the act of paying money for sex is not in itself illegal. However, soliciting in public for it is. That's why, at least in Edmonton, massage parlours and escort services are perfectly legal. Just don't let your friends call one at 4am, cause then you end up with two ugly whores in your condo, one of them with a black eye.

So yeah, unless there's specific laws against soliciting for prosititution on an internet forum, it's perfectly legal.

I don't get prostitution being illegal. People do it anyways, and I don't mean just some guy handing a hooker cash for sex.

If a hot chick gets some ugly/nerd/old rich dude into buying her things or even marriage for the jackpot, then that's prostitution. If a guy takes a girl out for dinner and a movie then gets rewarded with sex that's prostitution. Tons of people hook up after one of them buys the other drinks at some bar. There's a million scenarios. Some person shells out money in order to get another person to fuck them.

To quote George Carlin, "Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal?"

Depends on what the market is. My two dumbass friends paid $120 each for the escorts to just show up, and a goddamn blow job was $300+ I believe. I was actually pretty surprised at how expensive escorts are. I didn't have the heart to ask if we get a black eye discount. Both were not attractive at all.

The two idiots ended up arguing with them over the prices and the whores left. Thank god.
