I've never seen a game that can look so good in one picture look like such utter shit in the next quite like Vanguard. How are the character animations? I'd post some WoW retardery but my PC is crap and none of my pics fit the high res bill=P

I have in EQ, WoW, EQ2, and VG. Heh, replying to this I didn't realise I had fallen through the floor of so many mmo's but whatever.

And all those times I fell through the world, the game had been out for multiple months sans VG.

I remember falling through the floor in EQ in my early days and being completely bewildered for a half hour about what was going on. I needed a guide to get me out because no one could CoH me or anything.

In WoW, there's multiple ways to get out of something no matter what happens to you.

Its when you fall under and find secret textures like pics of developers cats that makes it all worth it. I remember seeing that kind of stuff in EQ1

LoTR just has more vibrant color and bloom, doesn't necessarily mean it has more detailed graphics

Think the trees in Vanguard would look better if the leaves were clustered more in certain places, you can see the sky behind the trees too much and it's too uniform

It's not just colors.. it's textures too. Everytime I see sand or rocks or cave walls in Vanguard, I cringe. The super clean buildings in VG are very offsetting as well. Unibody doesn't help, either.

Different tastes and all that.. but damn. I can totally understand someone liking LotRO style over WoW or vice versa, but I honestly cannot fathom thinking Vanguard looks better than LOTR. To me, it would be like preferring the graphics of Civ 2 over Civ 4.

I tried Lotr online and played for 10 mins before giving up. Its just not for me but the graphics are decent and run smooth as silk. Reminds me too much of DDO.
Ive said it before ill say it again when you run vanguard at full blast and your in a full group killing interesting looking mobs at 50fps nothing on the market compares to it.

That area was $$ for leveling as prot spec. Spent many a day pulling 15+ mobs into it.

If you gave LOTR only 10 minutes, then you had no interest in playing the game at all.
