I only played Vanguard for a short while during beta, but I have to say that screenshots don't do the graphics justice.

I don't doubt that Vanguard has decent graphics in certain settings, its just that (even by the creators own admission) it has very high system requirements to give it justice compared to LOTRO.
And to be honest, while the do look good i don't see the jizz-fest of amazing visuals that warrants such high system requirements. And the trees, seriously i can't help but think the trees look like 16 bit gifs spawned in a field, i know it must be complex blah blah blah, but lets face facts, MOST played are not graphical designers, they just want some pretty and those trees ain't.

And yeah, wow looks like shit compared to both VG and LOTRO IMO, it's like looking at screencaps from the latest Fantasia Disney special.

While it's certainly a matter of taste you surely would win the special olympics.

LotR looks really nice and if this runs better than Vanguard, who'd doubt that (3rd Gen my ass, better luck next game.), then I wish them best of luck.

It's far from de-railed, and there are wow shots in high res here too so i commented on all of them.
I originally liked Wow's style, not hot on it anymore though.

In any case i'm due for a start in the 100m retard wheelchair race so i'll leave you guys to it.
