+15 Internets | can you show SS on how do you it? i'm failing hard at lvl 49 every time, lvls 47-49 all just pile up and overwhelm my towers...tried the diaganol maze where they come from opposite directions as well as routing them into the same maze, neither works for me |

+15 Internets | At this point - the best strategies that have worked for me are Zehn's above shown strategy (without the cheating) and Brekk's strategy. I usually change mine every round to see if anything will work out better for me. So day 1 I got to level 3 on squirts, then level 12 on day 2, then level 25 on day 3~ Tricky, but fun!

+166 Internets | Few things to keep in mind 1- Once you get to about level 20 or so, it's no longer worth upgrading a tower unless you intend to upgrade it all the way (sans frost towers, 2 upgrades and max upgrades are the best bang for your buck, but don't bother with maxed out ones until you've got cash to burn, usually late 30's). 2 - If you're playing a challenge mode, you're most likely not going to win with all your lives. lvl 42 you'll be lucky if you even kill one of the flying bosses and lvl 48 you're going to lose at least 4 no matter how hard you try, usually closer to 8 or 10. 3 - Guns almost always shoot at the oldest mob on the board, so you want them to enter your maze as fast as possible to get at the core where your most powerful guns will be. This may seem counter-intuitive at first, but remember...the clocks ticking and there's no point to a long maze if the best 90% of it is going to do is take of 10% of a mobs hp. Plus, the flyer levels will kick your ass. Ground mobs will have spent so much time going through a pointless maze that they end up converging on the middle just as the flyers hit and you will end up killing no flyers. Anyways... Uploading a screenie of my last attempt. I experimented with a new strategy early on and I got a shitty score and lost alot of lives due to not enough towes upgraded (normally I'd have two more fully upgraded at least) but meh. You should get the idea. A huge maze is just a waste of resources. Just enugh to maximize your exposure time to the main cannons. |

One squirt tower = 15g = 5 damage. One squirt tower upgraded once = 27g = 10 damage. Two squirt towers would = 30g with the same amount of damage, so you'd save 3 gold a tower if you upgraded them once. Although that may be irrelevant to your strategy, clusterfucking the board with towers was not efficient, loading half of the board with towers and upgrading them once saved a fair amount of gold for the same amount of damage. What about level 2 and 3? Do you have fool-proof strategies to kill off all of those creeps? I once completed level 3 with 18 lives. I rarely kill the bosses after them (the first bosses) if I am able to do well. How the hell do you start off in the game? If I get a relatively good maze going for the first few levels, I have no chance on flying levels (since they're not affected by ground units) and bosses (since the tower(s) aren't upgraded yet). Am I going at it with the wrong defense / approach, or is there a compromise between a maze or building in the center (regarding early game)?

| I eventually developed a map (below) that would enable me to beat Hard. I can only kill one of the flying bosses from lvl 42, and I have to cheese the last bosses by selling and placing one of the pellet towers at the bottom to keep them in range of my big guns. Any suggestions for improvements?
