Slippery slope arguments are stupid. People would exploit the system by murdering and claiming it was a robbery? How many people claim self defense or just fucking conceal the crime and get away with it? You do know, don't you, that it's entirely possible for people to get away with murder already?

Fuck thieves. Let them get shot, and see how many people try stealing. I fully support shit like the 3 strikes rule, where goddamned retards get dozens of years in prison for a 3rd offense of something like heisting a snickers. Good. You're worth paying tax money to keep out of decent people's lives. Now if only some private citizen investing in a handgun could have saved some expense earlier in that criminal's thieving career.

Hawley, near one of the towns connected to Lake Wallenpaupack. Not technically the Poconos, but just outside.

Went to school in Williamsport, they don't call that place "Willy, Little Philly" for nothing. Seriously, I can't even count on my fingers how many times I've hear AUTOMATICS, not even just pistols/semis, going off only a block away.

About a month after I moved out of my first apartment there, it was one of the 10+ apartments burned down by gangs apparently because of drugs. Arson is a huge problem in Williamsport, the first semester I was there 4 homes/businesses were burned down in about a week span a couple blocks from where I lived.
