+29 Internets | Euro PSA: EM 2008 Tickets March 1st started the official application for EM 2008 tickets. You can do so at any time during March, there is no benefit to signing up early. Go to uefa.com¿-¿UEFA EURO 2008â„¢ (official UEFA site) and enjoy waiting in line. I waited about 15 minutes earlier today, might go faster now though. Once you register, select the tickets you want (cost between 45 Euro (Section 3 (behind goals) group games) to 600 Euros iirc (Section 1 final)) and enter your payment information. You can pay by payment slip (I think it's called? They send you the bill) or MasterCard. Other Credit Cards are NOT accepted. You can also choose to accept another section if you don't get the one you wanted, it's a small check-box on the payment screen and easily missed. Games in Switzerland include a 2.4% VAT, games in Austria a 20% VAT. They also have Tickets where you can go to all the games of your team. If they get kicked out before the final, you get reimbursed for the remaining games. Beginning of April they then have a lottery, where they first pick 750 applicants from the city in which the game is played. Yes, they reserved 750 seats for locals - out of about 36,000 ![]() After that, the remaining lucky people are picked and if they win either get their credit card charged or receive the bill. If - for any reason - that payment doesn't end up happening, the tickets are made available in a second round lottery. They expect about 10x as many applications as they have tickets, so getting some is quite a long shot. |
