This should be interesting. Basically, I have to come up with a name for a holding company I'll be creating (or rather, my lawyer will be) as part of some ongoing business transactions. I suck at coming up with usernames and passwords, how in the hell am I supposed to come up with a suitable name for a company that will follow me around for the next several decades? It won't be a "public" type of company that anyone but myself, my business partners, lawyers, and accountants would know about.

The other partners/family in the business have various names for theirs. Most used their kid's initials or portions of their names to come up with something. Thank god I don't have kids, and I don't want to name it after my long dead guinea pig or recently deceased dog. I'd like something fairly unique and/or clever. For example, my brother's is kind of clever (although the lawyer today asked me to not make mine such a pain in the ass). His nickname in highschool was "raisin", for he was dark skinned and always scowling. So he used "Raisin(g)" in the name.

So yeah, toss me some ideas here. Who knows, your idea just might pass muster. Maybe I'll do a poll or something with some of the better ones. Winner gets free stationary or something!
