This is in the wrong forum and doesnt deserve its own thread imo.. but its still pretty decent. Seemed a little less responsive than I would have liked, but that may just how it appears and not how it plays.

I will second the jerking off motion, especially when he starts saying "Almost there, we're almost there... almost there...".

Unquestionably.

Looks like a 300ms lag. Pretty steep IMO.

That's pretty cool. More of a demonstration of Wii's controller than a fishing game.

Will be interesting to see when PC catches on and incorporates movement based controllers in games. A stick that you use for fighting would be cool, just a pen sized stick that detects movement. You could use keyboard for everything else and have the stick used for swords and such. Would have to be well done and would require a learning curve where the player would have to adjust to the game but it'd be interesting.

Just imagine it now... Everquest 3 The ultimate weightloss program!.

you pay a few grand for the ultimate weightloss program, you get to interact in EQ3's environment but also have to run on a treadmill and shit to actually run ingame. you have to swing your weapons, do archery and actually do movements for spell casting!

shit, better keep this idea private... SoE might steal it =/

hell I'd buy it!

The PC could have games that require 3-dimensional movement if someone came up with a mouse that mimic's the Wiimote, and developers were willing to support it. Have multiple desktops, Easy window switching by holding middle-mouse and tipping the mouse downwards or upwards at the nose, games that incorporated the new motions for mappable keys, etc.

It's all a matter of developers being interested in it.

The 10min youtube zelda clip shows off the controller a little more, shield bashing seems particularly intuitive.
