I hate the current gen of consoles, and won't be buying any of the next gen ones for at least 9-12 after the PS3 is released (pending the selection of games available by then). The #1 reason I was going to get a PS3 has been nullified now that Assassin's Creed has been announced for PC as well.

Having said that... your post is fucking ridiculous. It's more true for the xbox because that system has a lot of retarded FPS ports from the PC, but there's still plenty of cool games that will never be seen on pc, or delayed so long that they will be irrelevant (Forza Motorsport, Jade Empire, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, etc.). The PS2 has far more unique titles than the GC does, and you'd have to be puffing on the crack pipe to think the PS3 will be any different.

Any game on the pc? Xbox and PS2 emulators exist but they are currently useless. 360 or PS3, try back around 2012, but even then I doubt it will happen. There isn't even a good Gamecube emulator available, and that system is a joke compared to today's PCs. The Wii is barely more powerful than the GC, but the fagmote should prevent most games from being emulated.

Maybe if I was 2% of the population with enough excess cash to use for wiping shit off my ass, but that's not the case. In a few years when they have a nice collection of rpgs and the console sells for 150-200$ i'll go pick it up. If it doesn't then oh well, I'll continue hugging my comp.
