| Cadrid I don't even know and I saw something very similar when I was younger at a religious camp some crackpot dragged me to. I swear I was the only one there not laughing, I just stared at the roof and wished I was elsewhere. And then this preacher that was there would lay his hand on someone and they would faint... so Im all like sweet I could go for a nap. Fortune has it God hates me and so there was no effect or something. Sometimes peoples beliefs are better than any drug on the market I guess. When your preached away from lifes true joys such as alcohol, maybe this is the only way to relieve sobriety? |

| Well since I'm apparently the only one here who actually knows anything about Pentacostals. Essentially they believe that in the height of anything God-worship related the Spirit of God comes down upon you and you become so filled with joy you essentially begin having a massive, whole-body Jesus-gasm. You begin speaking a language only understood by the soul etc. etc. I don't particularly agree with their doctrone (mine says we're high on spirit all the time, just less so) More likely it's just everyone wanting to get together and have a good time in a non-traditional way.
