+3 Internets | Damn religious discussion, worse than fucking politics discussion. Taking bets 2 to 1 someone mentions Bush and shit holy crusade in iraq and this shit jumps the rails. Whoops! Anyways, that movie was disturbing and to see these apparently conservative, mature people acting like people wiggin out on Acid and speed was a horrible thing. Imagine what their kids will turn out likee if they get sucked in. What a bunch of fruits.

| Debating the existance of God is so utterly retarded. The non-believers want proof from the believers if God does exist, and the believers already know he does exist. Sad part is, there will never ever in the history of the entire planet be a tangible and/or a found relic from Christianity that would prove the existence of God. This is based on the sheer fact that the entire religion is based on faith and faith alone, and to find an object that would prove said existence would only make the entire concept of Christianity (faith) moot, as people would begin to mass believe based on the finding of the object, not their faith in God. Duh. The haters will continue to hate, and the believers will continue to know. As long as the ignorance of most people lingers, such as associating a singular believer with the entire Christian community (ie, saying since the church supported slavery at one point, all Christian believers must support slavery; many other things fall on this line) people will always strive for an alternative to God to not fall into this 'category'. That and most of the God haters i've met were in the "Let's hate God cause it's cool" clique in high school, and just never got out of it. Oh, and people who have grudges against their Creator. (You wouldn't believe how many 'non-believers' fall into THAT category.) Some people don't believe in God because they originally had a misconception as to what God is and what he does. This is usually obvious more or less when a person claims to not believe in God, and in the same conversation will talk about how much they hate God for 'screwing them over in life' as if God intentionally planned certain things to happen to you personally. It's a selfish ideal, and utter crap. |

+8 Internets | Vurt had a good point about, waking up one day and wondering why the fuck you support that dumb local team who don't even have any home grown talent, only foreigners. And if you don't you get stabbed. And don't fucking debate shit like God. You can bring 2045020 years worth of science and data to back up your claim, but still all you'l get back is "it's the mystery of God, we can't comprehend" from the faithful. Not worth a moment in time.

+15 Internets | I have faith that god is a ham sandwich on wheat. Since faith is the only standard, I'm just as likely to be right as anyone else's conception. So the real question is, which is a better god, an omniscient omnipotent all loving god, or a ham sandwich on wheat? |

+20 Internets | I think God will be called into serious question the moment we find life on other planets. Some people will be able to handle it that God may have created life everywhere, but there are alot of people who think that the earth is indeed the most important place in the universe because we inhabit it. It might at least quiet some of the fanatics. |

| Religion was a good idea. Now its no longer needed and is a fucking detramint to society. All it does is just a cushion for people are afraid to die. Religion has way to many loop holes and fallaces and is way to fucking convienent to make any logical sense. Why are there fallacies in the bible? How can there be more than one religion? Why does god let dumb shit happen? WHY DO WE HAVE PROOF OF EVOLUTION????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? Also if god sends people to hell for being against it then those people in turn do good things because of fear, does that make god a terrorist?

So you admit that there is absolutely zero logical reason to believe in the Christian God, and that there never will be (cause that would break the rules, see). But the people who don't believe in God are the ignorant ones? Now that you've eliminated any kind of logic as a reason to believe in God, I guess that leaves, what, him speaking to you inside your head? Did this happen to you? Or are you just going to keep up the 'believers believe, haters hate' crazy person bullshit, because you don't want to come to terms with the fact that you have no more reason to believe in God than anyone else has not to? I'm going to guess it's the latter, but I would love to hear your illogical personal reason for believing in God. | |

+47 Internets | It bugs me when believers say that they know God exists. You can't know that God exists becausing knowing is predicated on evidence. If you have faith that God exists then more power to you, but don't claim that you know God exists. edit: It could be said that it is arguable that an athiest could claim that they know that God doesn't exist because to know is to have evidence beyond reasonable doubt. Here it can be argued that since God is necessarily supernatural that therefore he is unreasonable. So, that while abscence of evidence is not evidence of abscence this doesn't imply not knowing because there is no evidence, and anything that would proffer evidence would be supernatural and thus unreasonable.
