Boar dps in WoW should be boosted, to reflect this RL evidence of combat performance.

Anyhow I hope it heals alright and you wont limp for the rest of your life.

I'm hoping you went to a hospital for that? Because I don't ever recall seeing anyone leaving one with gaping wounds and hanging flesh like that.

Regardless, you now have a story to tell your kids. "Yeah, when I was your age, I had to feed pieces of my leg to wild boars just to make it to school on time"

Umm is there a reason this doesn't have a dressing on it? That's extremely dangerous...

Haha, that did make me lol.

Anyways, that's brutal James, hope everything is ok and no permanent damage was done. Talk about war stories to tell the grandkids someday =p

I know you're joking here, but I wanted to clear this up real quick. My leg was only torn into, not out of. My pants, actually, weren't even ripped open (which personally I think speaks volumes about Levi's). The most damage that was done was more than a small tear into my calf muscle, which in turn caused the muscle to 'relax', I suppose, into a contracted state. The most painful part of the healing process has been stretching that muscle back out so that I can straighten my leg again, but I got through it fine and well.

The actual leg is looking just dandy now, all stitched up and shit. It's somewhat deformed and slightly smaller than my other leg, but the stitches look pretty sweet. Awaiting my doctor's orders to start putting weight on it again, but I reckon it shouldn't be too long before I'm walking without crutches.

That said, no, of COURSE I didn't walk around with bandages on a gaping wound. What. Do you take me for some kinda pussy?

P.S. EverQuest had some mean ass boars. A tell tale sign of the better game if I ever seen one.

Oh yeah, also, one of my major nerves or nerve endings or some shit was ripped out, making damn near all of my leg from my knee down completely numb. Anyone else ever have something like that happen? The numb feeling is seriously way more fucked up and creepy scary than the actual wound itself. Does that feeling go away or what?

Nerve damage is one of the hardest and least likely to heal.

damage to nerves hmm after some pneumothorax surgery I had that numb feeling most of right arm and right torso, took roughly 2 years to go away.

As a kid I jumped down from a tree fort and landed wrong. Falling forward I put my hands out to break my fall. Three nails went through my palm and out the other side. It didn't hurt much at first. I still don't have full use of my left hand fingers(like I can't touch my middle finger to my palm without help) and the tips on two fingers are all but numb.

Same thing happened to me after knee reconstruction. I had it done in 2001, still don't have complete feeling back. It feels really strange now, I can feel it if someone pushes hard, but it feels like they're pushing on my leg through a few inches of fabric or something. Doctor told me it would take a few years at least to get feeling back (if it comes back at all).

That sucks man.

Holy fuck did you see that guy in the polar bear pictures? His foot is disgustingly destroyed.
