Wild Hogs are responsible for the most deaths and serious injuries all over the world when you talk about human versus animal "accidents". Right after it are moose.
You got lucky that you are alive dude. These things can deliver such badass punches it is unbelievable i had my own encounter with a female one here out in the woods and i am glad i got out of it without serious injuries.

Oh and the bear was shot anyways=P ... Hogs > bears when it comes to actual threat

Sorry to hear that James, hope it heals up nicely! I believe my uncle hunts hogs with his heelers, those dogs fucking rape at trapping animals. But they don't use guns, they use a knife. Now that is hardcore~
