That's funny, I must have been dreaming about all these raids I did with them before Vindi. Maybe pre-merge but it doesn't matter. Brotzi lead those raids, he lead the raids postmerge.

Why exactly merge anyways when your resulting raid force is in the three-fucking-figures?

108 is not just a lot of people. It's probably the biggest zerg raid EQ had ever seen.

Hawk Lords of Cazic-Thule might have them beat.

I remember them having 7-9 waves of people rushing naggy because the zone would crash if they all went at the same time.

Paradigm ran Sol Ro until Norias and Nanyea ninja-xferred to Legends server and joined the faggotry of TR.

HoSS, Darkwind, PD, MC, BoR. Sol Ro put out top guilds during EQ's prime even though the first two transferred largely due to PD's dominance imo.

On a diff note, Luclin was absolute trash when it was released. But as years dragged on I became fond of the clickies / alt loot and MQ2 farmed probably every mob in VT / SSRA for about a year on multiple toons.

<3 the clickies

lol, nice necro. Biggest raid I remember that had me staring at the ground and praying I didn't LD was the first tormax kill on my backwater server 7 hammer. Fires Within and I think Sanctuary in a short lived alliance. Easily 100+ folks in a zerg, 130ish iirc.

Sad thing is I'd rather log into that tonight than any MMO going right now.

Paradigm was still the top dog on Sol Ro through Luclin. We were one of the first guilds to finish Vex Thal, and MC was well behind us. Doing Vex Thal while it still had terrible loot tables and a rack of other problems really burnt a lot of people out. Norias leaving for legends was a pretty big blow as well. During POP I am not sure how things went with MC and PD as I did not play much during that time. I personally watched the Blood of Ro Tormax attempt that someone mentioned earlier. I have never seen so many corpses in my life lol.

youre thinking sultans of ro. and it was actually kinda a 3 guild merger with SoR, midnight, and dealers of death. we all merged cause neither of those 3 guilds could do anything really themselves and we decided to join together as fellow americans to fight the evil europeans and their timezone advantages.

well norias left and people stopped playing. PD tried recruiting but their loot system was so fucked up that no new recruits could get loot so BoR eventually absorbed any remaining raiding PD people around the end of PoP.
