| I kept them years ago when I lived with my parents. Still have Descent 1, Doom II, Command and Conquer, Warcraft II, ect in mint condition. I really don't buy games that often anymore though and when I do the boxes usually just sit around till I move or something then I toss them.

+1 Internets | I keep them, because for me they store CDs and manuals together, and they stack nicely in many locations. My older CD's, on the other hand, have lost their boxes due to space constraints. So I suppose it's both.. boxes get thrown away after about 4-5 years. |

| i still have old fashioned gianormous black isle/bioware boxes (BG, NWN) but the tinysized boxes get chucked out. No need to packrat that shit. Unless it's a Blizzard box. Some idgit would probably pay you a few hundred dollars for a mint condition original Warcraft box. Manuals are all piled up on top of each other on a shelf. Those just sit there until they turn to mulch. Once I reinstalled NWN and almost got pissed because I couldn't remember where they printed the damn CD codes (front of the manual. blah). +14 Internets | I used to save them all just incase I ever needed to return them or maybe trade them in for some credit, but as of late I rarely if ever save them. Although it was kinda cool finding a box of old DOS based game boxes, like the old space quests. Always good for a laugh to examine the system specs printed on the side ![]()

| I'll keep CD cases for years until i lose them. Game boxes are too big though. The only ones I keep are my DS cases since they take up no room. When I was a kid I use to love reading all the bio's and stories that came in the manuals. I'm pretty sure I read the mech warrior, street fighter II and Mortal Kombat 3 booklets several times edit: I just remembered the day I tossed boh my original EQ CD cases out (tear)
