Basically its an animation based of old 16 bit 2D side scrollers. There are tons of pop culture references, ranging from Mortal Kombat to Predator.

Its a black and white animation of some lame anime characters fighting other anime characters. It is like watching the Ninja Turtles game from nintendo.

I'd play it as well, if it were a game. But that animation is kind of old. It was pretty cool the first time around on newgrounds a few years ago, though.

by "old" he means they are 2-D sprite animations. Like little pixelated characters. I guess modern animations are either 3D CGI or flat vector animations like those found in Flash movies.

I'm not trying to be disrespectul towards animation in anyway. But the whole "kill thousands of the opposing force with as much violence as possible" animation was quite a fad a few years ago. I have to say, the one linked in this thread takes the cake on quality.
