To get this in it's own thread...

So what type of beers do most of you drink? For me it's the German wheat beers. Franziskanner and Weihenstephaner are my two favorites. Not too much a fan of the darker stouts, but drinking an Obsidean Stout at the moment.

So..what beers do most of you drink?

Picture to keep it in SS fashion....

Icehouse is what I typcially drink...because it's relatively cheap, 5.5%, good taste (subjective, but I like a decent bite to a beer).

I also like the Sam Adam's Winterfest.

My cousin gets this beer made in the Pocnos (PA) which is a Black & Tan and it rules.

In general I don't like the "light" beers.

In the Bahamas they make their own beer, Kahlik (Lite, regular, and Gold). One of the key ingredients of beer making is replaced with corn mash (or corn something) instead of whatever is usually used (I can't remember, barely, hops, Idon'tfuckingknow), but it has a nice crisp taste, decent beer flavor, 7.something% alcohol (Gold) and is really drinkable. Maybe it's the wheat is replaced with corn? I dunno. My Mom can only drink that beer. All other beers makes her sinuses get congested. I like it myself and would definitely drink more of it if it were available in the US.

I don't have a lot of experiences with different beers, unfortunately, but I've acquired a taste for it. Restaraunt nearby, Sweetwater Tavern, they make a great Octoberfest as far as I'm concerned. I'd like to try some better beers for sure, maybe goto the real Oktoberfest.

Sam Light, Sam October, Sam Winter, Killian's, and Corona Extra (with lime) are my favorite beers. If I'm just drinking to get sloshed I'll drink Keystone Light or Busch Light for games like Beer Pong, Asshole, Fuck the Dealer, etc.

Of all the light beers it's the one I prefer. However for normal drinking... Newcastle, Guinness, Killians, Labatt Blue, Heineken, and Yuenling seem to be the favorites.

For the record, my fave is Gulden Draak... but I usually drink Heineken or Newcastle...
