| Most any Belgian Wheat Ale. Especially Blue Moon. I've always had people put an orange slice in it, if anything, and then it has a sweet after taste like orange juice. A girl I dated for awhile tried it and said it was almost like the Pinot Grigio of beer. For some reason that sounded right. In any case, everyone who has tried it says it tastes like it has a subtle 'fruit' flavor, but the fruit they say has varied. Orange, pineapple, banana, lemon, heard all of them. |

+12 Internets | Been through this before in the Light Beer Thread, so I'll make it quick: "Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale", made in Nova Scotia, is the best beer ever.

+2 Internets | Fat Tire! Lived in Colorado for 10 years and loved that beer. Only way I can get it here in NY is to have somebody bring me back some if they are heading out there. Usually drink Molson Canadian Export. The one with the 2 labels on it. |

| Theres this belgian beer I've been getting into lately that I get up at the pub after work with the guys. I tried finding a link or something to make sure I got the name right, but it's like Meridsouls or Maridsouls or something. Pronounced "mare-id-su" and theres either Meridsoul 8 or 10, for 8 or 10% alc. Either way, good shit and it helps my dart game out. |

| I'm definately a beer-guy, and a wine-guy and a liqeuor guy... but anyways... I like most kinds of beers, they all serve their purpose (almost, there is never a right place for Miller for example). As a standard beer I drink mostly Czheck, German or Scandinavian. The general conception that americans make watered down crap is also quite easily disproven. Brooklyn Brewery Lager is something that has defenately taken a spot in my "standard" sortiment, a great easy lager. For more special stuff, I can only agree with the OP, Franziskaner is a wonderful weissbier. I can get into trappistbeers as well, but you really can't drink more than one, unless you skip breakfast, lunch and dinner. For best beer in the world, I'll split my vote (and now I'm not even getting into 60 dollar exclusive stuff, but more like things you can get at most good stores): Sierra Nevada Pale Ale It's like drinking a bouquet of flowers, literally. My favourite "light" beer, full of taste. Orval, belgian trappist beer A monster beer. Erinye - Maredsous is what you're looking for. EDIT: And wtf, a thread in SS worth reading? +13 Internets | If any of you are from Central New York, you have to try Ommegang(made by the brewery of the same name in Cooperstown). It's a Belgian ale with 8.5% alcohol. I get it everytime I visit home. Otherwise, I like J.W. Dundee's Honey Brown.

+31 Internets | Anything that says "Pete's Wicked" on the label is a go to brew for me. But seriously, how many fucking beer threads has this forum produced now? |
