+6 Internets | What was the point in bringing up Missouri? I live in St. Louis and I hate to break it to you, but it's not filled with rednecks and mother rapers. No matter how much Nelly wants it to be. |

| I thought all the parts of Missouri that had people in them were ugly and poor, but the other areas were relatively pretty.

+2 Internets | Excuse me, but how fuking STUPID do these people have to be? "Oh, you're 52 and live in suburb X and have interests in this that & the other? You know, my mom is 52, lives in that suburb and is into all those same things..."

Anyway, maybe I'm considered country by fancy city slickers and I just don't realize it because thats what I'm surrounded by. But anybody that says Missouri is filled to the brim with rednecks obviously hasn't been to Arkansas or Kentucky. I visited a friend in Kentucky last year. His closest neighbor (read: 4 miles away) had atleast 40 trees worth of firewood stacked around his barn. It was like his barn built a fort out of firewood. He didn't have heating, so he kept his fireplace going 24/7. My family owns a couple "summer" houses in rural areas (read: 1 mile between neighbors) and even we have a friggen furnace. | |
