An actual screenshot... from EQ

I don't remember if I posted this allready at the time, but since I just saved a hard drive from my old PC I found that pretty old EQ SS.

For the people that do not know EQ or have a short memory, this is in the City of Mist a place where huging walls and casting AoE spells could result in huge trains.

This was some open raid on the Lanys T'Vyl server to go kill Black Reavers at the end of 2000.

I agree, although the invisible ramps were a neat idea. I'm surprised they didn't use those in later zones.

yeah pretty fun to use the random teleport song on AFK people on those ramps during raids to get epic quest pieces, they come back, "wtf how did i fall?"

Man imagine the skill it took to take a chain of 20+ BRs, no teamspeak, no autotarget spell casting mods, no nothing. I dare say a full MC/BWL raid couldnt even take one of those, let alone the 10+ others that usually came after the first.

Just patched and logged in for the 21 day deal mentioned in one of Cuppycake's threads in the MMO Discussion board. I didn't know they added a new UI, but it's pretty decent compared to the old one.

the fuck is that crystal stuff.

i logged on a friends char to dick around lvling a lvl 5 skeleton wizard, but the crystals freaked me out.
