 | Hmm. I'm trying to decide weather XBox 360 or PS3 will be better. PS2 has several better racing games than XBox, but XBox has the Halo series. That video looked fucking awesome, though.

+5 Internets | On the jaw-dropping-o-meter PS3 is a pretty clear winner. As far as race games goe, that GT demo was insane in the level of detail and scope of the environement (omg at the pits) and Motor Storm, the racer in sand and mud sounded to be total mayhem. On Xbox 360 the Need For Speed looked pretty amazing, but we know it will be on all formats so /shrug.

+2 Internets | heh It's clearly a cinematic meant to appear as Gameplayish as possible. Though, it's more than likely using the game engine to play the cinematic as opposed to CG stuff,(Like the FF8 opening) which is pretty impressive regardless. |

+15 Internets  | I'm the same Kolle. And that's why my preference (based mainly on track record) is PS3 then the others. They all look like they're going to be amazing (the appeal to play the old zeldas and ffs on the revolution is huge for me)... I think at this point it might be which one will I get first. It will all come down to exclusive games. If 95% of the games are going to be on both xbox/ps3, I'll prolly go nintendo and ps3.

(I bet they're already working on FFXIII) I really like those games, so that's probably the deciding factor for me. I'd also prefere to play a game with a friend online without having to pay a monthly fee for xbox live - chances are I'll play it an hour a week online, if that much. Although I'm not sure if Sony is going to charge for it as well. I'm in a half-awake state atm, so I don't quite remember but: doesn't one of the consoles offer the option to download games to the HDD and pay by credit card? That'd be totaly amazing, no more $40 shipping costs to import a game =/ If steam can do it... | |
