| Alpine has a great team that can do almost anything. I know a bunch of those guys and used to work with some of them. The team has about 8 differant cars like that now and sponsors a new one each year.

+286 Internets | That is quite possibly the coolest fucking thing I have ever seen. Which guy here was trying to do this to his van? The bar has been raised, my friend. Edit: woops, not a Focus, a Civic.

That car above is all show and no go. It's only purpose is to sell alpine products. It has multiple head units, and only one is even operational. The guages are mispositioned and unreadable. Cars like that are just rolling billboards. The only time they are even started is to drive from their show position back to the storage truck to be shipped to the next show. As far as my van goes, I have some really nice custom fibergass fabrication and leatherwork planned out, but right now I just dont have the extra time or money to sink into it. Im looking to buy a house in a few months with a full garage where I can actaually move my tools in and set up a nice workshop for my hobbies. I'll be doing some more wood fabrication in a few weeks though, i'll post pics when the new work begins. Nothing crazy.

| I'd like to see one of these groups take a SUV and make it look like a sherman tank or something, now that be rad.

Nowadays, it takes some serious fabrication on the exterior as well as interior to impress the automotive guru. That requires body stretching, lowering, chopping, hydrilics, robotics and basically anything that "hasn't been done yet". I'me really hoping to see some new concepts this year. I hear the new Alphasonic car is gonna be insane this year.
