I love all the people who get their panties in a knot over some media player that the rest of us just shrugged and downloaded in two minutes five years ago. Sure I wish it was a non-gay codec, where you could go to fullscreen and all that, but I got over it, why don't you.

I don't have a problem with the codec, I have a problem with the player itself and the install. Last time I downloaded it it asked me a million questions before I could even use the thing AND it came bundled with some of my favorite spy/adware, much like the free DivX install. I don't even install quicktime anymore because it comes bundled with that piece of shit i-tunes.

The link i posted has all the quicktime, divx, Real, DvD codecs you'll ever need to play in your favorite player. Without installing any gay software (none at all if you want, it's just the codecs, though i do like the trimmed down media player classic).
