/bug Gryphon (h scroll - xl images)

Tonight I was in Darkshire questing with a friend. At the end of the night we went back to town and I decided to head to Stormwind via Gryphon.

As I got to the Gryphon master, I noticed a Horde (I am alliance) rogue fighting a couple alliance. I tried to cast a dot and sent in my pet, but the rogue was too high above me in levels to notice.

Anyways, he kills one of the Alliance and I get worried that he might come after me next, so I open a dialogue with the Gryphon master and ask for a ride to Stormwind. That's when things for weird.

The Gryphon just sat there and didn't move. I soon realize that I was in control of the Gryphon.

So anyways, these are pictures of me being in control of a Gryphon. It was very hard to control, very jerky. The movement graphics were pretty screwed up, and it took forever to get anywhere because it would move very quickly back and forth without going anywhere most of the time. I couldn't cast any spells, although the spell gems weren't greyed like they normally are. I couldn't get off the ground at all. I took it to some Inns but didn't really do anything cool with it, impressed a few people I guess.

I suppose I should submit an official bug report about this to Blizzard.

Brittney or someone, would it be alright if I reference this thread if I submit a bug report? I don't have anywhere to host the files myself, but I don't want to steal your bandwidth without asking.

I guess you guys do have someone on the inside too, so if you're reading this Furor, do you think you could tell someone about it for me?

This bug used to happened all the time in OB, till they supposedly fixed it.... This is the first time i've seen/heard of it in retail. Logging out/in fixes it right up.

the first time i rode a gryphon in beta it did that.

i was like shit this game is hard

All this thread needs now is a continuing line of screenshots where he rides the griffin half way across the globe in order to harass some poor random Tauren.

Had that happen to me at XR a couple weeks ago. It was really hard to control, snapped around on me and rubber-banded, etc.

I see it about once every two weeks or so in IF on my server.

I've had it happen to me once as well, its kinda neat, would be better if you could control it fully, that would be fun
