So I'm chilling at the computer the other night, when a girl I know calls from the courtyard (i'm in dorms atm). She is obviously drunk, so i did the only sensible thing and let her in so we could drink some more. So, in she comes, crying her eyes out over some dude who banged her like 7 times then dropped her, whatever. I got trashed, she left, and I forgot mostly about the whole experience (except for the fact that I had to hear some drunken bitch crying her eyes out over some shit i don't want to hear)...

Anyways, it's the next day and i'm browsing over a website that lets college students from various colleges post their pic/leet beta infoz, see my lady friend from last night on there, check out her page. Under her name i see her guestbook thing, and where the dude she was crying about had signed it a week or so earlier. anyways, his message was something like this:

"Hey Babe! Its been great hangin out with you lately....next time you come over we will have to work on a few more things on the poster!-Douchebag's Name "

the guestbooks there have a cool lil edit feature where one can edit ANYthing thats been posted previously.. So naturally I had a little fun at an assholes expense.

Not necessarily a goatse in the face, maybe a bit annoying, but I wouldn't say it was any sort of internet atrocity, seeing as it wasn't even posted to his profile, it was done on the guestbook of a girl that hated him.

So, fast forward to this morning.. I'm sitting in class and i get 9 FUCKING TEXT MESSAGES... so im thinking holy fuck what the hell is going on did someone die? No.. It's the same girl again, telling me that this guy has gone berserk over my little comment, and because it lists my name under the last edit, he knows I wrote it. She tells me that he's said I will personally apologize for the internet remark, whether I do it myself or he has to "make me."

lolerskates all around, right? Dude doesn't actually think I'm going to find him wherever he is and apologize, does he? No way, no ones that stupid.

Fast forward to tonight, I'm in my room chilling out with a couple of friends who are jamming out, I'm high as hell and about to write a paper. An instant message pops up, its him. Shit, I had left my AIM name on my profile on the same website, as well as my cell phone number and dorm room number. Shit, I'd always left it on there just as an info page for my friends at different schools.. Pretty stupid, but then again, this whole incident is stupid.

I talk with this dude for 35 some odd minutes on AIM, wherein the entire time he is constantly telling me that I will apologize or he will beat my ass. I'm just sitting there laughing it up, egging him on, then he says he's coming to my room. Yeah, okay, i've heard that one before. Turns out the dude lives two floors below me, he's there in 5 minutes. He walks in and the first thing i notice.. damn, this dude is COKED OUT.

So we're all just staring at this guy as he repeatedlly asks me the same questions over and over and over and over and over....

Cokehead: We need to go outside in the hallway and talk
Me: Not really, I don't have a whole lot to talk about.
Cokehead: Dude just apologize and stop being a bitch
Me: Why?
Cokehead: Yeah okay mr pothead trying to be a smartass
Me: What are you going to do if i dont?
Cokehead: I'll make you
Me: Is that a threat?
Cokehead: No im just saying you need to apologize so we can end this
Me: Dude, its ended, I really dont have anything to do with you and im not going to apologize because youre being a dick
Cokehead: No you have to apologize
Cokehead: Do you want to go outside and talk to me?
Me: No, not really.

repeat 50 times..

FINALLY he gets up the nerve to tell me that he is going to "knock my ass out" unless I apologize immediately. I tell him he's full of shit, my friends tell him he's full of shit, I ask him what the fuck he thinks he's going to do... he grabs me by the shirt, I give him palm strike right on the nose, one of my friends grabs him by the throat, while my other friend grabs me and lands a quick backhand to the dudes face. While they're keeping me from giving chase, these 3 other dudes we hadn't seen before run off with him. Apparently he had grabbed his roommate and two clueless guys and told them that he was getting into a fight, and to come with him, then had told them to wait in the hallway and to jump me when I came outside. Unfortunately for him, they didn't feel like fighting 4 dudes they'd never met, so when he got tossed out of the room by his throat they said fuck it and got the hell out... That was around 10 pm, its 7AM now and i am looking on that same goddamn website again, but I ran into this little gem.. It's now floating around about 90 gay singles websites. I've considered letting loose with his personal infoz, but I suppose I've done the guy enough favors today.

Just goes to show ya, sometimes when people make threats over the intraweb, they mean it!!!

Well, it's somewhat like a school registry type deal, only it's not sponsered by any particular college. I'm not really worried about having my information on the page, I only use it for school, don't mix it with any of my just random internet gaming shit. Something like 60% of my class uses it (around 5-7k in the class I'm in at UTK), and everyone that registers leaves their info also, there's no real privacy issues. You also must be a member to view another person's contact info & such, plus you need a school e-mail account to sign up. I'd never simply put all my personal info out for everyone on the internet to see, I may be stupid but not that stupid. I said before that the info I have on my page is there so friends at other schools can get in touch with me.

And what, exactly am I to learn from all of this? The girl I posted the comment on was my friend, she had no dealings with this dude anymore, and what I wrote wasn't anything worth getting coked up and flipping out over. I wasn't trying to conceal my identity at any point in time, and I don't care that people from my school know who I am when I leave messages, I've met alot of cool ass people on campus because of it.
