+32 Internets | My vest took 16,000 rings. I stayed in a chat room with chain maillers when I did it to ask them questions and stuff... alot of them were kinda... edgy... I'll never make another vest again, but I'm glad I did it(3months) it'll outlive me. |

| I started off making chain maille.. the hard way =P coiled my own wire over a dowel and cut the resulting spring to seperate all the links... never again.... ever

+32 Internets | That's the only way I know of, well, except I used a drill and put the dowel in it, it sounds like you hand coiled, which sucks. But yeah, cutting 16gauge stainless steel sucks hard, not so much with really nice bolt cutters, but still, hard. |
