| World's smallest flying robot! Soon these things will be small enough to be mistaken for flying insects. Think about the possibilities. http://www.epson.co.jp/e/newsroom/news_2003_11_18_2.htm PS. In a newstory I read on a website, it mentioned that this robot had Bluetooth capabilities, which would mean it's wireless, so I'm not sure about the wired connection seen in the video. | wonder how they do when you put them in a little wind. still a long ways off from a mechanical dragonfly or similar, which is ultimatley what the military would want. aerodynamics are a lot harder to manage at that scale though. smaller insects like gnats don't so much fly through the air as they are so small it's more like they "swim" through it. |
