It's pretty cool so far. Love the graphics and the physics engine is very nice. There are some bugs out, i guess there's something going around where people can lag the server with some command, it's really annoying. It looks much better with AA on as well. I'm running 1024x768, evyerthing on high, at 2xAA and i get about 50 FPS with a 9700 aiw.

There is a HL2 benchmarking tool included. Basically it runs you through a bunch of effects and gives your FPS. Quote:

Those graphics don't look much better than the original CS's but that's hopefully because this is an early version and they haven't polished any character models yet... And for the love of god, why dust? eww...

Those screens dont do it justice at all. Cant see the ragdoll death animation or the physics of the gameworld. CS:Source is superior to regular CS by far. They finally got Flashbangs right, character movement looks fantastic, and the Havoc engine works great. Some pople have had some lag issues, but I have had zero lag at all, and Im enjoying the Beta alot.
