Not to be a goober, but 50 mph is his velocity, not his acceleration. In order to use F=ma you'd need to know how long it took him to go from 50mph to 0 which would then give you your value for A.

It is not so much the picture of blood and guts splattered everywhere that make people uneasy.

It's the fact that what you are looking at is a bag of flesh just like your own that has ceased to exist. When watching a movie and you see Rambo blow a guys head off with a .50, you know that guy is not really dead and thus you can "enjoy" it.

But when you watch/see something you know is not fake, a part of your brain just knows something is wrong.

Fair enough.... assume a constant 50 Mph - so no acceleration. That does change things a bit but you get my drift. His moment of inertia on the truck is negligible. When a fly hits your windshield, he slows your car down but by such a small amount you don't even notice it. Same deal.

I totally get that in theory, but I just can't relate to it in practice myself. Though in theory I can imagine shitting dick nipples and dragons fucking cars could make some people physically ill too, and I guess that is why I am confused.

Maybe it is just the stark reality of it. Then again in some ways I would say the fantasy violence should be worse. Real life death and dismemberment have to be dealt with for the sake of research, science, humanity... Watching Rambo blow someone's face off in a violent pantomime that looks real but isn't is just about masturbatory deathgore entertainment when you get right down to it. I find the faceplant fascinating for academic reasons, but I wouldn't get excited and cheer if there was a video to watch. People get into horror flicks and books where all kinds of fucked up shit happens to people. There is a supposed disconnect due to the fantastic nature of it, but without the low down dirty potential for such a thing to actually be possible such work would lose much of its bite and appeal. Same thing with shitting dick nipples in a way. It is just a drawing, but it is realistic looking enough to feasibly evoke thoughts of real shit, dicks and nipples.

I just don't have a hard time accepting the brutal truths of the matter when it comes to the facts of life and death I guess. I am also possessed with some amount of morbid curiosity, though not enough to be a rotten/ogrish connoisseur or anything.
