| Dandrools got it right. It's a German cargo ship that ran aground in 1909 named Eduard Bohlen. The desert's been slowly creeping westward and the ship now lies some 400 meters from the sea. I found its name from scouring the Namibian shoreline on Google Earth; it's at 23°59'45.69"S, 14°27'27.03"E if anyone cares to see. |
