The best part IMO of those shots of the plane is proof that a 747 could have indeed slammed into the pentagon building without blowing over cars etc etc like the tinfoil hat horde wants you to believe. Not to derail, but owned.

That doesn't really prove that. The planes landing near this beach probably have thier engines on extremely low throttle. But I don't know that, I'm not a pilot whos ever landed over a beach with people and cars on it. And I'm pretty sure the psychos in the airplanes running into the pentagon were probably trying to go as fast as they possibly could, at full throttle.

No, they knew to turn off the throttle, that way it couldn't be traced back to them.

Ever fly commercial and sit in the plane? Commercial jets land with quite a bit of throttle actually. Around 30-40% of full throttle at landing.

It's backwards from what you would casually think. Cut the throttle and descend...

To land you deploy flaps which provides lift but also slows the plane. To keep it flying you add throttle. A plane like a 747 would drop like a rock (in excess of 1500 feet a minute) with full flaps and zero throttle.

While your in the pattern listen to the engines and you can hear them come up every time they lower the flaps further.
