Scroll so that you can only see her head. Now watch carefully. She will switch directions, even without looking at the whole -illusion-. Perhaps the illusion works with the head, as well as the heel. It is hard to tell really... but I'm not putting my confidence in it.

Yeah that method was the only one that worked for me, now I can switch them back and forth at will. Mind bottling.

Have never and will never be able to get that thing to work, nor those magic eye books.

edit: seconds after saying that, i got it to work. I was looking at the face orignially, it helps to look at the pony tail and realize that its going to be going backwards. Also standing further away helped me...

I guess the best way to tell would be to time it a few times, and see if it switches at the same time.

Result: inconclusive. They switched at 15 seconds, 20 seconds, and then around 30 seconds. A real stopwatch would probably help...
