This pic is a 700 grain hard cast steel round for the Smith and Wesson 500 .50 cal. Note its not lead, so it will not flatten on impact. It will basically go right through the block of a 350 chevy. I actually own the 8-3/4 inch barrel model and special ordered a box of the 700 grain. Each bullet and casing together weigh as much as 4 .44 mags. The company that makes it "Ballistic supply" has a great web page with pics of what a 350 grain does to a concrete block. The kick on the 700 grain is manageable with a padded shooting glove.

I own several smith and wesson's, and when they released the 500 I jumped at being able to own the most "powerful" production handgun there is. It's a great gun to shoot.
