Its a .600 Nitro express. The bigger steel model weighs in at like 13 lbs so the weight absorbs most of the kick. If you go down that page they make a single shot .600 Nitro that you basically cant fire to accurately. 50 Smith And Wesson Magnum This pic is a 700 grain hard cast steel round for the Smith and Wesson 500 .50 cal. Note its not lead, so it will not flatten on impact. It will basically go right through the block of a 350 chevy. I actually own the 8-3/4 inch barrel model and special ordered a box of the 700 grain. Each bullet and casing together weigh as much as 4 .44 mags. The company that makes it "Ballistic supply" has a great web page with pics of what a 350 grain does to a concrete block. The kick on the 700 grain is manageable with a padded shooting glove. | |
