| Kate looks short. And since I am vegging atm... Those board marks behind her are made out of some form of pine. Pine is cheap for concrete use and the dark spots are knots common with pine. In the US the width of the boards since they are softwood would probably be about 5.5" (that's what you get about for a 6" board). With nine of them, 4" and she is too short, and 8" and she is too tall. If you figure a couple inches added from the bottom, it puts her somewhere around 4' 8" or so? She is in Canada it seems, but a quick google suggests North America - US and Canada - use a common standard for lumber. Enough gets shipped back and forth near the border where I grew up; it makes sense to me. I couldn't get her site to load to see if anything is there. |

| more just forth, not so much back. We import waaaaay more lumber than we export, especially to/from canada. Trust me, im from a logging family, and canadian lumber is why my home town is dying out. (Not that that is a bad thing, basic economics considered.) |

| lol thats why i said it wasnt a bad thing, because its not. If people don't understand economics they shouldnt be talking anyways. Back on topic, yea she does look really short, but you should look up the canadian lumber scale, as the US might not be of any use. Thats what i was getting at. |

+66 Internets | 9 boards x 8" per = 72 inches - 4 inches of heels = 5'8" She's probably an inch or two shorter, but it makes more sense than what you figured. Those are definitely 8" boards, and yes building materials in Canada and the US are identical. Which makes for lovely times when the architect did the plans in metric. I don't know offhand if 2x8's actually measure 1.75" x 7" like most other lumber. Probably. Lumber is fucked. But I guess pipe sizes are no better. So she's probably between 5' and 5'6" Last edited by Eomer; 07-11-2007 at 02:18 PM.. |

| And getting away from the wood talk, well at least in the lumber sense, I don't find Kate all that hot.. and that's not even factoring in the hoof. Yes, I would bang the shit out of her, hoof and all, but she wouldn't be my first choice when I went looking for internet porn.

| lumber sizes do not take into consideration trim and plaining. So yea, 2x4 isnt really 2in by 4in. But, according to wiki: Outside North America sizes of timber vary slightly. Sizes are, in some cases, based on the imperial measurement and referred to as such; in other cases the sizes are too far removed from the imperial size to be referred to by imperial measurement. Lengths are sold every 300 mm (a metric approximation of 1′). Common sizes are similar to the North American equivalent; 2.4, 2.7, 3.0, 3.6, 4.2, 4.8, 5.4, 6.0. So yea, basically the same sizes. |
