The fact that it's crammed on that island doesn't help much either. The big jets (Heavy's) have to come in way low and slow in order to land. Unlike the old Hong Kong airport where you have to dodge skyscrappers and almost skydive down. At Princess Juliana seeing those planes land is not the funnest part, it's the take offs. Those jets line up right against the fence to make use of every inch of the runway. Sometimes, there are folks still playing around on the beach on the other side of the fence. When the jet spools up and you are on the beach, you'll get sandblasted and most end up in the hospital. Yeah, nice shadow, hehe. Twats. ... Bonzai | ||
