+20 Internets | Crossbows and Catapults fucking rocked. They were basically weapons once you replaced the default bands. My buddy and I used to hurl rocks at the walls and shit too. Fun times. Speaking of old toys, remember the Inhumanoids? That one fucker used to imprison guys in his ribcage..man that was a cool idea. |

| The real question is what was the name of those dinosaur toys with all the guns sticking off of them? I remember having the T-rex and the Stegosaur as a kid but can't remember what the hell they were called. Turok totally ripped that shit off. |

| Dino Riders was the shit, also made into a Saturday morning Cartoon. Questar was the main character (I think) I had the crazy Brontosaurus that opened up for carrying your dudes and a bunch of those plastic missiles that would shoot out from the spring loaded launchers. Yeah, the ones that would hit you in the eye when you weren't looking. Back in the day, toys I think were simple because thats when young boys still had amazing imaginations. We used to come up with all kinds of scenarios when playing with toys. We used to build bases in my friends backyard, he had this huge dirt pile and we would make tunnels, and forts out of popsicle sticks and shit. Fuck, those were the goddamn days!

| I got the Masters of the Universe slime playset for my birthday one year. That shit just destroyed my grandmother's carpet. It should have come with a length of extension cord to beat the child with after he's done playing with it. |

| I mentally thought "Fuck Yeah Battlebeasts!" then saw it posted already. Thought about it a second and realized they were the fucking shit and decided it was worthy of a second post. I never managed to collect that many though..... but damn if I didn't have like 200 MUSCLE men. ![]() |

| The one cool thing about my mom was that when she got an apartment by herself, she got a storage facility for some of the stuff she couldn't fit in it (like a couple appliances, lawn furniture, etc). She was always okay with me keeping my old toys, so she let me put them there. I have old Transformers, some ninja turtles, comic books....hell I have nearly the entire set of Battle Beasts WITH the poster that had the names and whatnot of all of them. I even have some old weird toys that had these glow-in-the-dark swords. The figures themselves had no legs but had arms and a hooded cloak "shell" with a changing hologram inside for them. I remember this one was a vampire who'd look like a vampire dude, then turn it slightly and he looks like a giant humanoid bat monster. They were cool as fuck. Kind of a good thing she has my toys in storage though, they'd probably be all over my house right now in strategic positions! Quote:
(edit) Found the toy I was talking about. Supernaturals!
