Actually you can regrow it, without any kind of surgery. Skin grows naturally when the area is stretched (i.e. muscle growth), so while it would probably be uncomfortable for a while, attaching small weights to the skin is enough to, in time, cause it to grow back good as new. There are even slightly more elaborate methods as well as devices to help in this endeavor, should you choose. Watch Bullshit season 3 for more information.

I'm not sure why people react so bad to that? Why do you care? Keep your foreskin or go to a doctor and get it removed. Either way, it is totally benign and has little impact on your (potential) sexuality.

And there is no such thing as female circumcision. Female genital cutting is a pure and simple mutilation.

"Female Circumcision" is a term that has commonly been used to describe the various forms of ritual genital mutilation that exist in other parts of the world for decades. Please jump on the "learn the common expression" bandwagon.

Interestingly, female "genital cutting" also has been shown to noticeably reduce the statistical chances of contracting HIV (although last time I checked both the male and female studies were highly correlational and lacked a proven causal relationship).

There's ample solid scientific research from the past half century to back up everything I said about circumcision, including its negative effects. I can understand if you're sensitive about having been circumcised, but even if you don't believe there's anything wrong with it I fail to see why you would not be supportive of securing other individual's right to make the decision for themselves as to whether they have a foreskin or not.

Also, mastectomy provides a 100% guarantee that you will not have breast cancer. I suppose you would therefore support have a mastectomy be a standard procedure on newborn girls?
