Lol, been seeing a few a-10's flying around lately, I think 6 in the entire week. I hear their guns go off all the time, or at least some sort of form of the gat. Though no A-10, but supposedly my dad[30 years of 16th SOS Spectres] says that the new AC-130's are being equipped with the 30mm avenger.

The Me 262's top ace was probably Hauptmann Franz Schall with 17 kills which included six four-engine bombers and ten P-51 Mustang fighters.

I think it was good at both. it was too fast for anything to handle it. it could enter a fight at it's discretion doesn't matter what the other plane was. there was simply nothing that could catch or evade it.

me262 top speed 559 mph
me262 rate of climb 3,900 ft/min

p51d top speed 437 mph
p51d rate of climb 3,200 ft/min

the only reliable way to shoot down a me 262 was during landing/takoff due to the slow throttle of the jet engines, and if your enemy is constantly circling your airfields then you have bigger problems than combat ratios.
