If you're talking about the one at 1:18 it's probably a single flare.

The plane is remarkable. My dad sent me a documentary on it and one of the pilots was this filthy hot captain talking about the 'feeling' of holding down the trigger on the cannon.

The cockpit has a steel bathtub to keep the pilot safe from small arms fire. The plane flies so low and slow that it commonly comes back torn up from ground fire but working perfectly.

The A10 is one badass plane. When people ask for a new close air support craft for their branch, people just say A10s.

And yeah, they're extremely survivable - one of them had most of a wing blown off and it still made it back.

I can't believe the AF and MC seriously think that a F35 is going to be able to do the same things that the A10 does (without the big gun) or take the same amount of damage..
