It's a Cam-Am spyder. From what I have seen they get about 30mpg. They are more high performance toy than commuter. 0-60 in like 4.5.

They actually get about 35-45mpg depending on which engine you get with them. They run about $15-$20k. Roomie has the brochure at the house. Looks pretty cool actually.

Guy accross the street has one. I haven't seen him riding it yet, but I checked it out in his garage. Hoping to get a chance to take it out for a spin.

I'm gonna have to find that damn article now. Anyway, I was just curious cuz I've been seeing a lot of them recently.

Around here you used to SUV's out the ass, but as of late you see more bicyclists or motorcyclist. Not so many SUV's any more.

Edit** Found the article, it's about a kneeslider motorcycle but it's a "bullet bike" model. It has a VW deisel engine.

I just saw one of those yesterday upclose. Thing is badass. Has a little trunk at the nose that could easily carry 2 bags of groceries and a gallon of milk. I'd compare it a lot more to a snowmobile with wheels, than to a motorcyle. Its VERY low to the ground.

9500 redline, fast as balls, guy said he averages 50mpg. He also said its large/wide enough that people notice him on the road. Doesn't have the same issue with hiding in blind spots as a motorcycle.
