LB is cheap ass swill that is always located just to the left (or right) of the Keystone Light and Bud/ Coors variety (but not doomed to reside next to the Schlitz or King Cobra).

Now, most good beers can't be purchased in conventional grocery stores such as Vons or Albertsons. Hell, even most liquor stores don't carry the good stuff. I suggest trying some of the "nature" stores such as Trader Joe's or Haley's. Their selection is fairly large and their choices are great; especially in regards to their microbrews. If not there, try your local distributors; most larger cities have two or three that will sell cases (minimum) to customers for a pretty good price.

And, with that sidetrack out of the way, on to the SS...

I've never been to a liquor store that sold beer. Maybe I just haven't been to enough yet, but I thought they only sold hard A.

Weird, I don't think I've ever been inside of a liquor store that didn't sell beer.

Most have really good deli's inside of them, too...unless you go into Crack-whore Willy's 24/7 slop shop next to the RR tracks.
