They better have Spears agreement for that and it doesn't sound like it since they don't have a quote from her in the press annoucement. "Let's use the private life of a celebrity and her image to do the promotion of our political views!"... even if Spears share their views (which is likely) I hope her lawyer sues them.

EDIT: Oh and I am not an expert in the question, but isn't that an odd posture to give birth?
