| i still can't get a definitive answer out of any expert about which is better. it mostly comes down to what you think looks the best imo. i've heard seasoned experts say drilled sucks and to get slotted, i've heard other people disagree. /shrug also, eating pads faster might help braking by constantly having a clean surface at the expense of longevity.

| I miss my STI fucking ass gas mileage and a longer commute to my new job made me sell it T_T;; least my Honda Civic Si gets decent gas mileage... but... it's still a honda civic :|Well more I didn't want to be putting miles onto the STI :| wanted it to hold it's value so got rid of it before I put a shit ton of miles on it... |

| sti is probably the only model that is going to suffer from milage because it's the most likely to be abused and driven hard. subarus on the whole are pretty expensive and hold their value quite well even with high mileage.

| i write this not to sound like a smartass but with real curiosity there 1 thing i never understood about americans. you guys are obsessed with racing just like us. probably even more than us. but your races, (Indy, Nascar, those 1/4 mile races)...are all about who-get-more-HP-under-the-wheels it's like you focus completely on the "showing off" those huge powerfull speeding bullet cars but ignoring the beauty of driving skill. i'm not trying to say its easy to drive a car at 300km/h in the middle of 30 more cars, but i was wondering "where is the fascinationt with that?". I ask because in my personal opinion, i cant even consider 100 laps on a boring oval circuit a "driving race" Be able to drive at 100+ km/h on snow/sand/mud/water/grass like this guy did is what i consider "driving skill" anyone can elaborate?

| It's really all about the oil. Screw driving skill, I want to see who can pump out the most toxins.

| Going with the current theme, I just bought a new car. 2004 Nissan Maxima SL. I'm more concerned with comfort and luxury than performance but it does pretty well with a v6 3.5L at 255HP. Unmodded. I have no need to go faster than I can already go. ![]() Plus it's got a hell of a lot of buttons. I love buttons. ![]() |
