2. He legitimately got hit in the nuts, and legitimately got shoved - within about a second of time. So it's hardly a 'dive', like those soccer players who barely get touched (or not touched at all) and fall in feigned agony.

3. He got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, so he certainly gained nothing from a 'dive', if he did.

yea they are basically synonymous. ive used the jockstrap sans cup more often then not though. and the penalty was because he did it in the other guys face, so prob some trash talking as well.
