"I am a vintage photograph and junk dealer, and found this today in one of those old small flip book photo albums. The little album dates from the 1950s and comes from an unknown North Carolina estate. The photos had no location information. There were a couple of other old church interior photos in the album - I have no idea what this this could be but it sure is boogery lookin'.

The scan was done directly from the snapshot, and I have done no enhancements whatsoever. I have include close-ups, and also a scan of the entire photo. Would hate to be in church on some late night and run up on this thing, you can make out definite human features on the "head". Who knows if it something paranormal or just old camera defects, either way it is definitely cool and thought fellow Coast listeners might enjoy taking a look.

I agree and I checked before I posted that. Snopes didn't have anything on their site for it when posted that. There was only a link for a dead AP story that further lead me to believe that it was fake.
